Scream Aftershow Party
I was lucky enough to get an invite to The Primal Scream aftershow party in Brixton last Friday. Primal Scream were selling out The Brixton Academy on the night. Meanwhile, just down Brixton Road at a great little venue called Jamm, the aftershow party had already kicked off with some great live music from a line up of five or six bands. | |

Ex-Stone
Roses and current Primal Scream bassist, Mani (pictured left) was due
for a DJ set around 2am and he didn't disappoint with an eclectic set.
Personally, for me, it was an excellent night and well
worth the trip. Not only did I get to meet and shake hands with the bass
player from one of my all-time favourite bands, The Stone Roses (who
you should really check out if you don't know of them already - incredible
drummer), but I got talking to some of the bands playing at the venue
on the night and a couple of them showed interest in coming along and
getting involved with our next junior student performance (scheduled
for July 10th 2011) which would be fantastic.
All in all a brilliant evening's entertainment and an
excellent night's work!
