Welcome to the Drumlab! We're dedicated and passionate about providing quality drum tuition in a friendly and professional environment to students of all ages and abilities.

We specialise in group classes which offer great value and also provide several other benefits to the student. Each drum class has a maximum of five students.

Within a group dynamic, students are able to “feed” off each other; they have the opportunity to develop communication skills, and appreciate their own and others’ achievements.

At The Musiclab there is a distinct emphasis on working with the student’s creativity, in order for them to learn how to develop the skills required to begin to create their own music.

We teach on a combination of electronic and acoustic kits. The bulk of the lessons are taken on the electronic kits (see kit list for more detail). Each electronic kit has a high-quality set of isolation headphones, an MP3 player and is also connected to a PA system. This gives the tutor the flexibility to teach students as a group or individually within the group (we do a combination of both). We also ensure that students get plenty of experience of playing on the studio's acoustic kit.

Classes are 50 minutes in length and we organise them as much as possible based on ability and age (in that order).

All our tutors are highly competent musicians and experienced teachers.
