firmly steeped in the Blues, learning slide or “bottleneck” guitar will
bring a whole new versatility to your instrument and take your guitar
skills to another level.
The emotional, sometimes haunting effect of
this style can be heard throughout the Blues and in the work of some
of its greatest exponents such as Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Robert
Johnson and Son House.
By working through the techniques and music that
made these players so great, you can open yourself up to a broad, expressive
sonic range and give yourself a whole new challenge on your instrument. We specialise in group classes which offer great value
and also provide several other benefits to the student. Slide Guitar classes
have a maximum of 4 students per class.
Within a group dynamic, students are able to “feed” off
each other; they have the opportunity to develop communication skills,
and appreciate their own and others’ achievements. |
